Get DirectionsA Hudson Valley Landmark
The Moodna Viaduct is the highest and longest railroad trestle east of the Mississippi. Built in 1908, this iron giant stretches 3,200 feet across Moodna Creek valley and towers 193 feet above the ground.
We're right in the valley below — if you're crossing by train, keep an eye out for the farm. By car, you can see the viaduct from several spots around town. It's one of those things that stops you in your tracks the first time you see it.
